"No Loiering" (sic)

One day I rode around in downtown Charleston and photographed corner stores. I came across this one on Charleston's Eastside. The "No Loitering" sign painted on the wall was misspelled, so I decided to use that for the title of this piece.

"Play Here"

This store is in the area we called "Back The Green" in Charleston. It is owned by Teddy Foster who went to the same high school as I did. His father ran the store when we were kids.

King at Cannon

This another in my Charleston Street Scene series. This is 12"x16". When I was a child, my family lived in an upstairs apartment over a corner store, though not this store. There used to be lots of such stores in the Charleston peninsula, but their numbers are dwindling.

Riverfront Park Play

This is a scene from North Charleston's beautiful Riverfron Park, located on the old Charleston Naval Shipyard. The park also features a wonderful Charleston Naval Shipyard Memorial which is well worth visiting.

Caribbean Girl 4 - Framed!

This is the fourth and last in the Caribbean Girl Art Trading Card series. I offered them for sale on Ebay as trading cards, but they did not sell. So I decided to mat and frame them, each in a 8"x10" wood frame. I love them framed. I will place them in my online store, Andrea Hazel Watercolors. http://andreahazelwatercolors.ecrater.com/
